Who we are
WebFix Studio is run by CLVS BV, Veldkruisstraat 22, 9910 Aalter, Belgium, VAT BE 1019.752.585. CLVS BV is the controller for the personal data described on this page, except where it says that a butcher shop is the controller. For every privacy question, write to clovis@webfixstudio.be.
This website
This website does not use cookies, analytics or tracking scripts, and it has no forms. Fonts and images are served from the site itself.
Our hosting providers, currently Cloudflare and Vercel, process technical data such as your IP address and browser type to deliver the pages and to protect the site against abuse. We do not use that data to identify visitors.
Links to other sites, such as Instagram or the websites we built, lead to services with their own privacy policies.
When you contact us
When you email or call us, we use your name, your contact details and your message to answer you. If you become a customer, we also use them for quotes, agreements and invoices. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering you, the agreement with you, and our legal duties for accounting.
Email runs on Google (Google Workspace and Gmail). Invoices are made with Billit. We keep correspondence as long as we need it to handle your question, and invoices with the related documents as long as Belgian accounting and tax law requires.
The ordering app for butcher shops
When a butcher shop uses our ordering app, the shop is the controller for the data of its own customers. CLVS BV processes that data on behalf of the shop, as a processor, and agrees the terms with each shop in a data processing agreement.
The app processes the name and email address of the customer, the order, the chosen pickup day and time and, if the customer gives them, the customer's allergies. Allergies count as health data under article 9 of the GDPR. They are only recorded with the customer's explicit consent and only used to warn the shop when an ordered product contains the allergen.
In the current version, this data is stored only in the browser of the shop's own device. In the version with a shared database, it is stored in a PostgreSQL database. Before that version is used for a shop, this page will name the database provider and the location of the data. Order confirmations are sent by email.
The shop decides how long the data of its customers is kept and can delete it at any time. Customers of a shop exercise their rights with that shop, and we help the shop to answer them.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and a copy of your data in a portable format. You can object to processing based on our legitimate interest and withdraw consent at any time. Write to clovis@webfixstudio.be. We answer within one month.
You can also file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit), Drukpersstraat 35, 1000 Brussels, www.dataprotectionauthority.be.
